The Debelleyme street is lined with houses and hotels particularly from the seventeenth century and eighteenth century.
The Maison
A BUILDING STEEPED IN HISTORY
Situated at no.3 rue Debelleyme (was 3 rue St François), the Maison was built in 1768-1769 with a specific door and beautiful wrought-iron balconies. In 1844, the famous author Eugène Sue has used the Maison house in his novel “Le Juif errant” as to where the will of the Marquis de Rennepont must be revealed. After years of history, the Maison was renovated into different apartments but it has always retained its XVII century façade. This beautiful building, which is just next to the Seine river, is ideally located in the center of the Paris fashion week.
